5-Week Production -- Shooting & Performance
Fully rehearsed in their Ensemble Feature Film Roles, Actors’ performances are further enhanced during production by a Professional Crew (not students) to ensure that their performance excellence is matched or surpassed by excellence in Cinematography, Sound, and Production Design. In addition, Actors have the opportunity to collaborate with Filmmaking and Masters Directing Students.
Unlike other film schools, the Feature Film Academy DOES NOT burden students with Hidden or Additional Charges, such as Equipment Rental, Location Fees, Transportation, Raw Stock, and Post Production Fees. These additional charges plus tuition can add up to over $60,000 per year at other schools. And that’s just to act in short student films, shot with substandard cameras and equipment.
All FILMMAKING EQUIPMENT, MATERIALS, & SERVICES, AS NEEDED--From Professional HD or Ultra HD RED CAMERAS, Sound, Lighting, Grip, Dolly, and Crane Packages, to Locations, Transpo, and all Post Production Services;

Except for occasionally casting “Name” Actors, the Academy casts primarily from among the undiscovered (but talented) Actors who either (a) Audition for a specific role in one of our upcoming feature films, then enroll at the Academy if selected; or (b) who enroll first, then audition for an upcoming feature film role.
During the 3-Week Preproduction Phase, Rehearsals are conducted along with PERFORMANCE ENHANCEMENT WORKSHOPS that are designed to prepare the Academy Actors for their Ensemble Roles in the Production that follows:
